1. What This Warranty Covers
NSCNC Manufacturing Ltd. ("NS CNC", "we", "our") warrants to the original registered owner that every new NS CNC machine and factory-supplied component is free from defects in materials and workmanship for twelve (12) months from the date of delivery to the end user.
An extended warranty of one additional year is available for purchase. The extended term runs under the same terms and conditions as this Limited Warranty.
Our sole obligation under this warranty is, at our discretion, to repair or replace any part or component we determine to be defective. We cover both parts and labor during the warranty period. No other remedy — and no other warranty, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose — is provided beyond what is stated here.
2. What Is Not Covered
The following are excluded from warranty coverage:
- Normal wear and consumables — paint, milling bits, coolant fluid, and any other item that wears through ordinary use
- Mishandling, misuse, neglect, or accident — including damage caused by operating outside the machine's rated specifications
- Improper installation — damage resulting from installation not performed in accordance with the User's Guide
- Improper power conditions or electrical events — voltage surges, incorrect supply voltage, lightning, or similar events
- Unauthorized repair or modification — any work performed by a person or facility not authorized by NS CNC
- Shipping damage — damage sustained during transit to or from NS CNC or a distributor; inspect your shipment on arrival and report carrier damage to the carrier directly
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect function — surface marks, scratches, or minor external imperfections from transit that are normal for precision manufacturing equipment
- Third-party peripherals and accessories — items not manufactured by NS CNC carry only the warranty of their original manufacturer, if any
3. How to Make a Warranty Claim
Follow these steps in order. Most issues are resolved at step one or two.
- Consult the User's Guide. Many issues — calibration, feeds, electrical connections — are covered in the troubleshooting section. Start here.
- Contact your authorized NS CNC distributor. Distributors handle common warranty repairs and parts orders in their region. If you are unsure who your distributor is, contact headquarters and we will connect you.
- Contact headquarters. If your distributor cannot resolve the issue, contact us directly. Have the following ready:
- Machine serial number (found on the rating plate)
- Proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation)
- Clear description of the defect and the conditions under which it occurs
- Photos or video if the defect is visible
We typically respond within one business day to confirm receipt and advise on next steps. Warranty service may require shipping the defective part or the machine to our facility. We will provide shipping instructions; do not ship without prior authorization.

4. Return Policy
Return window
90 days from the date of delivery — direct NS CNC purchases only. Returns on purchases made through a distributor or reseller must go through that distributor or reseller.
Restocking fee
20% of the purchase price for undamaged, non-defective returns.
Required condition
Original packaging with all accessories, cables, tools, and documentation included. Items returned incomplete may be refused or assessed a higher fee.
Damaged returns
If a returned unit arrives damaged (beyond any pre-existing condition documented at time of authorization), a higher restocking fee will apply, or NS CNC may decline the return at its discretion.
Software
Software licenses, downloads, or activated subscriptions are not returnable after activation, installation, or download — no exceptions.
Non-refundable fees
Shipping charges and installation or commissioning fees paid to NS CNC or a distributor are non-refundable regardless of the reason for return.
To initiate a return, contact us at info@nscnc.com before shipping anything. We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and provide shipping instructions. Shipments received without a valid RMA number may be refused.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NS CNC is not liable for any of the following, even if advised of the possibility of such damages:
- Lost profits or lost revenue
- Lost or corrupted data or programs
- Production downtime or business interruption
- Cost of substitute equipment or services
- Incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind
Our total liability under this warranty, in any case, is limited to the original purchase price paid for the affected product.
6. Transferability
This warranty is non-transferable. It applies only to the original registered owner and does not pass to any subsequent purchaser, lessee, or transferee of the product.
7. Your Statutory Rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary by jurisdiction. In some Canadian provinces and in some US states, limitations on implied warranties or on incidental and consequential damages may not apply to you, so some of the above limitations may not apply in your case. Nothing in this warranty is intended to exclude or limit any statutory rights you cannot waive under applicable law.
8. General
This warranty is issued by NSCNC Manufacturing Ltd. and is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising under this warranty that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the courts of British Columbia.
NS CNC reserves the right to update this warranty policy for future purchases. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to your machine.
